Our Policies
1) PAYMENT PLAN – Lessons are paid on a monthly payment plan figured on an annual basis. The payments will be the same each month regardless of the number of lessons each month. The fee is $119 monthly for all instruments. Payment is due on the 1st of the month. You will be emailed an invoice 5 days before the 1st of the month. A late fee of $16 may be applied to your account after the 10th of each month. Payments can be paid online through the email or on the website. Payment also can be by cash or check at your lesson. Special payment arrangements can be made where needed.
2) MAKE UP LESSON – If you miss a lesson during a month, there will be a group music class for make up lessons held on the first Saturday of the following month from 9:30am – 10:30am. So – for example – if you missed a lesson in March, you can come to the Saturday make up lesson in April. These will include music theory, performance, conducting and other ‘musical stuff’. All who missed a lesson the prior month are invited to the make-up lesson.
If you need to miss 2 or more consecutive lessons, we request a 2-week notice. You will be billed for the missed lessons in order to keep your reserved lesson time.
3) STUDENT PORTAL – At FloridaMusic.net, you can go to the student portal where you can make a payment, see your schedule, cancel a lesson, and have access to what was taught at your past lesson. If you prefer ‘old school’ – lessons still go on without all that jazz.
4) Teacher emergency cancellation- Teachers are allowed one “emergency cancellation” day during the year.
5) Enjoyable interaction between teachers, students and parents is a must.
6) Withdrawal – If you need to withdraw from the program, we request a 2-week notice.
